Delete your Plantarium account

Delete it from inside the app

  1. Open Plantarium.
  2. Go to the You tab.
  3. Tap Delete my account & data.
  4. Confirm with Delete Everything.

This takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

Already uninstalled the app?

Email support@plantarium.io from the address you used when subscribing and ask us to delete your account. We reply within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

We can only act on requests from the subscribing email address — that is the only thing tying an account to a person, so we can't accept a request we can't verify.

What deletion removes

  • Your account record, including your email address
  • Your subscription record on our servers
  • The links between your account and your devices
  • Your scan and usage counters

Your plants, photos and care history live on your device, not on our servers. Uninstalling the app removes them.

What we keep, and why

  • Payment and invoice records held by our payment processors (Apple, Google, Stripe). We are required to retain these for tax and accounting purposes and cannot delete them on request. They are held for the period applicable tax and accounting law requires, and deleted once that period ends.
  • Aggregated, anonymised usage statistics. These contain no personal data, are not linked to you and cannot be traced back to an individual, so they are retained indefinitely.

Everything in the list above this one is deleted immediately, with no retention period.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription

If you subscribed through Google Play or the App Store, billing is managed by the store, not by us — so deleting your Plantarium account will not stop future charges. Cancel the subscription in Google Play → Subscriptions or Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions as well. If you subscribed on our website, open the app, go to the You tab and tap Manage or cancel subscription — you can cancel there directly. You can also email support@plantarium.io and we will cancel it for you.
